Included on my list are rewarding ways to "buy Irish" and support local businesses..

TheTaste.ie

Why do so many Irish sites have to put the ".ie" in their brand name? I guess it makes it 100% clear the website is Irish owned and operated which is good enough for me! TheTaste.ie is a reliable source for the best in food and drink across Ireland. I've enjoyed numerous deals on dinner nights out and saved a lot of money off the menu. Often they'll offer you a bonus coupon code to get even more off the deal price (you'll be an insider).

Subscribe to TheTaste.ie to Save on Food and Drink: By signing up you'll get access to their VIP prices and also be informed about restaurant openings and special events like wine tastings and festivals.

DropChef

Do you like to cook and prepare home-cooked recipes for dinner during the week? I do as long as the recipes are easy to follow and I have all the ingredients in my fridge or pantry. That isn't easy and requires too much planning and shopping during my busy day. DropChef to the rescue! It's similar to Blue Apron and HelloFresh in the USA where they send you a fresh foods box each week along with recipe cards.

You have to cut and chop and season yourself, but the result is near restaurant quality. Most of the time I have great success and a delicious meal, though sometimes I get a little out of my kitchen comfort zone. It's the perfect plan for beginner home chefs and people who think they are too busy to cook from scratch after the work day is done.

DropChef Deal: Give it a try with ‎€15 off your first order with no obligation. They do an excellent job packaging up all the ingredients from the meals you've selected on their website and delivering the cold box directly to your door in Dublin.

Of course you have to read the fine print as I always do. Often you can only book in for a table during the week and there is always an expiration date. Even if you don't buy a voucher from TheDiningRoom site, you'll discover restaurants that you haven't heard about and expand your dining circle around Dublin.

Rewarding Times

This deals site is sponsored by The Irish Times but anyone can take advantage of their offers on local restaurants, wine, Irish foods, and other products of interest. The bonus is if you are an Irish Times subscriber. That gives you an extra 10% off (typically) which adds up to big savings. Like with all Dublin coupon sites you'll find out about places to eat and shop that you might not know about. My last deal was for a case of wine from Ely at incredible savings.
